The upside down tomato plant after 4 weeks in the planter...Gravity is now doing its job and towing the plant downward, this will eliminate the need for staking or tying up the plant. The leaves will always turn over on their own and face the light, but gravity will always keep the plant growing in a smaller diameter area than if it were planted the traditional way...If you have problems getting your plant to grow downward, sometimes it helps to weigh down the wild branches with fishing weights until the plant starts fruiting.
