A Community and Forum For Aquaponic Gardeners

We are 5 students from Santa Barbara City College and have designed this system using google sketch. The fish tank at the bottom is around 100 gallons and will be buried a foot into the ground. We are looking for any feedback or suggestions about our system. Criticism is welcome.

We were thinking that the 2 black things in the grow bed underneath the the pipes would be a wire mesh that would catch the solid waste and the box on top would be our sump tank. Im not sure what a degassing box is.
