That's the best way to learn, through experience. It sounds like you have a great plan. I wouldn't change a thing. I'm anxious to see how it turns out

Current plan is to put them into the ground about 15 inches and use them as raft beds ..(with either shrimp,  prawns or local crayfish under) with the gravel beds draining into them ..they will contain the tomatoes and other vines ie cucumbers melons etc . center will be fish tanks ( eft above).  the right will be same as left but will have the eft setup above ... work in progress ... sorta figuring it out  as I go along ...
