i started selling the kale to a farm coop retail store in town, they have other farms that bumped me out for the winter. perhaps they will take it for the summer. i now go to a local farmer's market, and the kale is very popular, just cant sell all that i planted.

HOLY KALE!!! I have a few kale plants that are I have been harvesting for the last year and are as tall but have no lower leafs. I love this kind of long term crop in comparison to lettuce since since the only labor is harvesting. Lettuce and other short term leafy greens are very labor intensive.
