P. persimilis doin' his duty: creating a healthy environment, one spider mite at a time. At least, I think this is p. persimilis (I'm about 85% sure on that). Compared to N. californicus, they have sleeker bodies and longer legs. Oh, and they're fast. REALLY fast. Trying to get a picture of these guys was a real treat :/ These guys are specially bred with an extremely refined palate. (In other words: they're picky.) If spider mite isn't on the menu, they'd rather starve. But put their favorite food in front of they're gangly legs, and they will eat and eat and eat and eat and eat and....
