These are from the seeds I threw over my shoulder at the grow bed that germinated. Just doesn't get much easier!

I was considering the first 5"-6" be composed of gravel media for bacteria and the remaining 5" Hydroton in an effort to save cost.I'ts easier to manage crop this way and the gravel media could be better for bacterial growth i think, because of the irregular surface area.

Just a little 3/4" river rock to help keep the cost down on the Hydroton.
