Also the bottle makes the bell siphon easy to explain because you can actually see whats going on. I forgot to mention that you can cut the neck of the bottle down, to drop the water level even more.

I actually have my growbeds tucked away for the winter. The water bottle opening actually fits perfectly over a 1/2"
standpipe. From there you just drill a few holes around the neck of the bottle, for the water to flow. Thid siphon works
alright but still needs a little adusting.
