Well your more than welcome to come visit our cave . Its about 2 hr driver from Laredo,TX I just got to know ahead of time to plan the trip. We mine until the last days of Feb and sometimes March. My father is mining at the Bat Cave Ranch at time but because we are almost done will all the orders we got last year. He should be back by Friday. We are still expecting at least one more order to come in this year . Hopefully I can close the deal before Jan.I will email you shortly take care.

I may know of some good outlets for sale here in the US. Please send me a PM, or email me at jon@fishnetaquaponics.com

I eat the fish I catch too. If I don't like them to eat, I won't fish for them. My photo on the site here is an exception, a catch-and-release steel-head from from the Klamath river in Nor Cal.

I would like to come visit your bat cave sometime. I don't know when I'll be in Texas again, or Mexico, but it sounds very interesting. What months are your mining season?

Na no secret. Its at my fathers ranch but the catch is that its in Mexico. We mine it and we sell it . The mine is still occupied by bats but at this time they are on vacation. We get about 4 good months to mine it 5 if were lucky. Once the first bat arrive we are out. I cant take the risk of scaring them off . We are very fortunate to have them . We still dont know how deep the cave is as we have not reached bottom yet . I have been told by an old timer that there are more caves under all that guano but  we just cant reach it yet.  The more we dig the more  bats shit we find. Its always full every year . Its like we dont even mine it sometimes. We sell mostly to organic frute tree farms in Mexico but this year we are going to give it a little push in the US market . We have a list of Organic Magazines and newspapers were we are going to advertise in. Do you know of any good organic magazines you can recommend?  Anyway its located next to a riverbank with lots of fish. The delicious kind. Sorry I eat them. I have never been a good sportsman.

Fair enough, where do you mine? In Texas? How much do you get, and how often do you harvest? If that's a guarded secret, I understand.
