I get most of my supplies from a local greenhouse supply store. I cannot afford the overpriced items at the hydro stores. The trays have 32 cells that fit a 2"net pot perfect. They come in both round and square cells. I stopped using them a long time ago. I can get a denser spacing using foam and floating seedlings upon germination. This saves me much time when spreading out.

Chris, where do you guys get those sprouting trays? do they hold the 2" net pots? ...my hydro guys cant find them.

how did you make the floating troughs? just wood and some waterproof paint? glassfiber?
