We are using florescent.  I just added two 1000 watt grow lites.  We have 4 1000 grow lites in 6000 sq ft and florescent.  I am planning to reflect off the mylar from outside.  It makes it twice as bright.  I will show you with a picture once i get it done.  This pic is facing west.  We are NOT using t8s. 

 

When i painted the floor white my nitrate dropped in all 8 systems from 140 ppm to about 5.  It took about 2 weeks and abunch more fish to do this.

Things are looking great! Are you using florescent or did you secretly replace them with HID's? Which direction is this pic facing? You obliviously get some ambient light for growth.

I had my doubts, but these plants look green and healthy.

Is this all there is to the lighting?   T8's in the ceiling fixtures and the windows?  That's it?!
