I started the largest of these fish almost three years ago in a 10 gallon.  I have been active in New Hampshire aquarium club for over a year and since I joined I think I have purchased every aqaurium magazine available.  I maintained this pond through the winter with just the pump and daily supervison.  I am not planning on disturbing the fish till the temp is well above 50 degrees. Cleaning the pond and setting up bio-filter or growbed. Durning warmer seasons I add aeration as well. Not shown, but I always keep another 100 gallon pond on top to keep the fish feeling safe and hidden during hibernation times.  It is only recently I have found my true life calling. Aquaponics!!  Thanks for the comments.

Yes, those goldfish are pretty strong. Deeper would be nice though. The leaves breaking down eat up alot of oxygen. Make sure they have some shade and dont feed them until the water gets above 55degF.
