Directly sown on the hydroton. I love the fact that we will be harvesting this at a time that we have never been able to grow lettuce due to the heat!

I have to try hydroton. I've just used pea pebbles and small volcanic rock. I'll have to break down and go to the local weed store.... ahhhh, I mean hydroponic store, and pick up a bag or two. Actually I'm just kidding, they don't even know about growing marijuana in Northern California ;)
