Thank you for responding. I am trying to learn as much as I can. I did want to use gravel because I want to do tomato and cucumbers and I believe it would hold up the plants better. I just did not know if landscaping supply yard carried river gravel or if it was safe to get it there.

@Sherry The media is just 3/4" river gravel (no limestone) purchased from any landscaping supply yard. Much cheaper than the clay pebbles but heavier and a little harder to work with.
