You can kinda see the filter media there... It was VERY RICH with nutrients and bacteria and all that good stuff. Once my system was up and running I then placed the 3 filters in my tank and shook them real good to jump start the cycling process. This seemed to work as there are plenty of little snails crawling around my tank and on my grow towers already.
