yes, it takes 3 sheets cut off at 5'.. the cut offs are useful for other projects.

FTR- the beds are 5'x12'...ive found this to be the best use of space and materials.. it costs less to build one 5x12 than two 4x8 beds... less walk ways and more growspace!!

this is a 300 gallon system, "stretched" over 240 sft of growbeds using an index valve.

a huge thanks to TC Lynx for introducing them to the AP world!!  :-)

Thanks a lot for the detailed reply. Your work is really impressive and how I picture my builds in the beginning but they never turn out quite as sharp or as stable for that matter. So you are having to use 3 sheets of plywood?

Mathew, here's a pic of the base. all 2x6 and 6x6

the beds are 5x12 and the base is 40"x10' with the plywood joints falling on the 2x6 at legs 2 and 3.

I did add two more 2x6 (like the one in the center) than are pictured here. ..just be super solid.

this build was an add on to an system we installed 3 mos prior.

Do you have to reinforce the bottom with any 2*4s or is it just the sheet of plywood?
