i know that the pinking of the stems could be a number of things, im looking at sulfur as the main culprit.

FTR- i never have these problems in the AP beds... only the standard Iron and Mag every 3 weeks and BOOM!

so my growing expert friend walks in and says calmly... no big deal .. you just need some more Mag... its locking out everything else.. the yellowing is just old dying leaves... the pink is phosphorus getting locked out, add some Mag.

so i mixed up a batch of compost tea.. went heavy on the Mag, and foliar sprayed everything and watered it into the soil... Viola! every thing is back to Rockin!!

Got me there Rob...honestly it might be best to have a water sample tested. i'm betting it's not that expensive where you live...plus it'll give you a good (and hopefully precise) idea of where you're at...

When you amend Mg do you do it with Epsom salt still?
