OK I getcha. The only thing is with suspended planters you can turn them so all sides get equal sunlight or else the backside to the sun will always be in the shade and not produce as well. Might I suggest that you make some pockets out of landscape fabric for your planters sockets/ pots so you can replace the shade side plants just before they visit so you have full robust plants all the way around.
Also, if they are the typical stacking pots, they have a tendency to water unevenly, meaning that when you water from the top and shut off as the water reaches the bottom, the media at the bottom will be waterlogged while the top dries out.
I hope this helps..break a leg with you campaign.
Cheers
Hey Carey the tank is fromhttp://www.behlencountry.com/index.aspx?ascxid=behlenCatalogProduct... and the towers from http://growingtowers.com/ the grow towers were not designed to hang but sit on the floor. I suppose they could be alterd to hang, but i just wanted them to sit in the DWC and drain into there. Less hardware and visible PVC. Trying to make a "Showy" greenhouse for PR sales to the mayor and AG commisioner in our town. Hope to do a larger commercial set up out back after we Wow them with this little set up
Hi Greg, where did you get those stacking pots and that wonderful grow bed? I like it!
Why do you use pots under the verticle instead of hanging them so they can spin?
