The PVC hoops over the verticals are now changed to one large hoop over.. (I was gone and there was a misunderstanding at the time they were put up)

Michelle, I have been told and also recall seeing such covers on specific plant areas within a large hoop / green house. This was either to extra protection or to keep the plants free from contamination. If you have not destroyed these individual PVC hoops, you may want to store them for next winter and try this...possibly for grape Tomatoes or some small tropical fruit such as Carambola (Star Fruit), or Papaya (especially the dwarf variety if you are lucky enough to find some reasonably priced).
