This is very cool!!  I've wanted to build one of these for some time now.   I'm looking forward to some more insight on this system, as you progress and experiment.  Thanks for sharing.

Paul just built it and the weather is cold. I need to heat 1000 gals so this wont do it on its own. I think it will heat about 200 gal. If you dont have alot of loss each night. It is raising the temp about 10 degrees from input to output. Still experimenting. Love your vertical system.

David,has this unit worked out for you. How may gallons are you attempting to heat? Paul
