growbeds after 3 weeks
Added bamboo trellises for climbing veggies. Trying 3 different ways of growing: directly sown, in seedling planters of my own mix and pots from the nursery. Direct sown seems to be the clear winner so far.

so do I. I have a stand of timber bamboo next to the greenhouse, (north side) and I pillage it when need be for poles and trellis materials. Easy to work with, just watch the edges, it can cut like a knife!

That's great. I seem to have better luck with seedling planters of my own, or from the nursery. Nice neat, clean setup. I love the bamboo trellises.
