The blue tub on the left of the tank/growbed (partially concealed by the wooden frame) is where we are growing our duckweed.  It would surely grow more abundantly if it were in full sun but it produces plenty for us as it is now.  In a couple years (once retired) - I'll completely change out the configuration to a CHIFT setup; but this is working well as a small system to learn from, both through learning what questions to ask and by making mistakes before learning what questions to ask...
