Actually, we are going to incorporate NFT.  We were going to do vertical initially, but with NFT, we won't have to be concerned about getting a different media possibly certified.  Also, one of us is vertically challenged(how about that terminology!), so we wanted something both of us could easily access.  We are thinking running a continuous piped NFT double channel above each trough.  They will be suspended from the purlins above.  A seperate submersible pump will pump up to the first channel above the first trough and then return to the last one.  Believe me we WANT to utilize all that wonderful vertical space too!

OK...seriously need to do some vertical growing...just look at all that empty space...in Economic terms...almost zero marginal costs of using this space (other than the cost of the vertical set-up). Let's put our minds together and come up with some solutions...why not start discussion seeking ideas from fellow Aquapons:-)
