My "Water Bridge Siphon Overflow Assembly" in use. this combines a water bridge with a trap, then a vent. i added a riser to bottom end assembly to draw water from the surface. the hose is the water supply from sump tank. not part of assembly.

This works just like a water bridge, to move water out of a tank or container. No Holes needed in tank or container. use a water hose to start the flow from your tank. or use a tube to suck air out of the water bridge part of assembly. once a siphon is started and water is flowing out the "T" fitting, You will never have to prime this again. (unless air gets into it) power can be off and this will drain water to a certain point = the outlet side of "T" fitting, and wait for water to be added to tank before flowing again. This is useful for anyone with several tanks supplied by 1 water pump and will flow through them all. the part rising above the "T" fitting, is a breather tube or snorkel. this prevents the assembly from siphoning out the entire tank. by equalizing the atmospheric pressure between the tank and exit side of "T" fitting. water will "sit in the 2 "U" shaped parts of this assembly once primed.
