i came up with this crazy idea to control the water level in both tanks by using a syphon into a 2 liter bottle, with a large hole cut at top. the water level will always be at highest point of this 2 liter bottle, i had to adjust it with gravel under it till i had desired level in both tanks. ( this controls both because of water bridge connecting them the large pvc pipe. the water overflows and pours into a 1 liter bottle that has holes for 2 trickle lines to feed 2 trays. the overflow also feeds the tray it is in. and the last tray gets all the water from these 3 before going into the seperate drain. all 4 trays have 1" pvc piping under them connected as 1.
