Good tools help.  But most important is taking the time to be precise.  Also, building in room for adjustment.  It is easy to design something that is difficult to build.  The trick is keeping it simple.  "Form follows function."  Something that functions well is usually at least easy to appreciate, if not appealing to look at.

You are a true craftsman.   I wish my wood projects turned out as nice and precise.  Maybe if I had better tools....?
