After almost a month, the water is final stabilized at 0 ppm ammonia, 0 ppm nitrite and 100 ppm+ of nitrate. Just need to get more plants to the grow beds..

Yup, I am going to cover the tank up soon. However, I am looking into building these out of wood. After I set this up, there are a lot of interests from friends but they don't really like the look of the plastic.
I doubt it will fail anytime soon but that's good you are concerned. I have seen some folks that seem less concerned with stuff like this. Even if you had a simple frame built correctly to support this, you could just slip this tank into it so it could still be useful. Consider shielding it from UV with paint or a UV protected tarpoline and it may last quite a while.
@chris, thanks. I am looking to replace it with a wood frame based tank in a month. It concerns me as well.
Great your water is stable but the structural stability of your tank concerns me. Hopefully you don't run into problems with it under stress and also getting brittle in the UV exposure.
