You'll never believe it but the beds are $8 KIDDIE POOLS with Home Depot Styrofoam rafts painted a nice brown. After building the very high-tech canoe u see with overflow drains, level sensors, growth medium moisture wicks, and structural grating to hold the growth media above the nutrient solution it was all just toooo costly. Maybe $900 to $1000 bucks for the works. The Kiddie Pool rig came to 50cents per planting spot. Even beat the cost of NFT system I was about to build from the PVC pipes bought for it that are now holding up the shade frame in the background. The PVC pipe NFT system was going to come to $5 per planting spot. TEN TIMESs the cost of the KIDDIE POOL rigs.

What are the round grow beds made of?  What material are you using for the liner?  I like it.  Very nice, love the canoe.
