Hi guys, the structure is indeed wood post with the main posts being 4x6 pressure treated.

About the only thing I would do differently would be the roof vent on the N side between the grow room and the fish room. I only made ours about 8" and it should have been 12". That would make it easier to reach through to staple GH material, etc. Otherwise it has been an absolute delight and does everything it was intended to do and is easily expanded in either direction when ready. Would love to add another 16' (to the present 24') for a 1200 gal Trout round tank and a bit more workshop, storage, record keeping space.

Ours is similar. Our FT water overflows from the tank by gravity out to 4 GB's but we have 2 sump tanks linked together under the GB's with a pump in each that sends the water back to the FT we have SE sun exposure year round

I like that a lot. Is the structure made of wood? Did you design it? What would you do different now that you are up and running. This looks a lot like what I want to do for my second green house.
