We do work at keeping the water below 70F in the heat. Our 55F artesian well helps a great deal. Shade cloth coming in tomorrow to replace white tarp. Tomatoes do fine at 60F water temp. White roof panels on the walled off fish room with white skylights helps a great deal as well. That is why I designed the system with the 5 IBC FTs and the below grade sump in their own cooler room. Soon we will replace the common tarp wall (grey background in the pic) with insulation panels and that will help even more. Gaining!

That is amazing that you raise a cool water fish and hot weather plants. YOu must heat your water somewhere along the way or do you just raise the trouts water temp?
