This is the beginning of my basement experiment. I will be utilizing an independent biological filter rather than using grow beds for a biological base. I am hoping that it will eliminate solid compaction, eliminate anaerobic decay, and create a more stable bacteria culture for more efficient nutrient production and better water quality.
