It worked, but I'm terrible at keeping vigilant with foliar sprays. My cuke ended up kind of petering out due to a climb in the spider mite populace. It's still alive and recovering, but I often find my self bouncing back and forth between nutrient deficiencies and pests. Leafy greens and celery are doing great though.

Thanks Alex...me too. Hoping to have some with the cucumbers. Last time we tried to grow cukes in the store they got PM (powdery mildew) since it's so humid in here...I've been using that potassium silicate that you picked up from us to raise system pH (and foliar once in a while) to help strengthen leaf cell wall structure...so far so good. How did it work out with your cukes?
