Hello Sherry,

Do you have fish already? I am vegetarian so I would not grow fish for food so I have goldfish. You can adapt a small 40litre tank with overhead filter to grow some herbs on your kitchen counter, I will post a picture when I have more time. How much space do you have?

I have used polystyrene to make floating 'chinampas'  in a 1000litre tank at university within a greenhouse, pics to follow.
