My past life was with an EPS manufacturer, I have talked to them about manufacturing a few Aquaponics pieces for me but these will work just as well.

I have drooled over Nate's towers for the last several months..

So yeah, they do get crowded.  But it depends on what you want to grow, and what the finish product is supposed to be.  We are shooting for leaf lettuce, so the crowding doesn't seem to matter, and yeilds are about 2-3 lbs per 6 weeks.  There are other trays in which are 16, 32, 64, and these 120s.  Pros are they are reusable.  They cost between 11 to 15 dollars each though, so start up is a bit pricy.  Currently I am undecided on the product, but the decision makers like them at present.  Check out Nate Story's grow towers, now that's something cool.

How do you like those rafts?  Do the plants get overcrowded?
