This is a beverage container in which I installed a inexpensive float valve. The valve input line is copper and under line pressure (~90 psi around here). The float decouples the watering system from the line pressure and keeps it at a few inches of water. I did this, as opposed to using a regulator, so that I could visually inspect the system every time I went down to feed the girls. I wasn't sure how well this would work but so far it has been great. As long as there is water in the koolaid tank it seems to work.
