Arthur,

  The pipe is stainless steel and 90's are cast iron. It works great,  even when the temps  have dropped to 12 and 9 degrees at night the water temp has stayed in the 70's and the lowest temp the greenhouse has dropped to was 48 even after the fire went out the other night.
