A "bell siphon" with no bell? That is not a "bell siphon". It is a stand pipe. What are u guys smoking??

Will you be adding anything else to this set up, like a topper, or will this work just as well without adding a larger head to the pipe. looks similar to mine except I added a larger head but found when I put the covers on, the pipes did not siphon properly and I almost overflowed my grow beds. It wasn't until I took the inner pvc pipe off and had only the outer larger pipe as a guar did everything work ok, not sure if it is correct but it's working ok for now.
