broccoli does not look much different. I credit this to the high nutrient load needed to grow them. Please remember thqt my system is just 6 months or so old. We still have soil based beds in the yard that I will probably transplant these to after I replenish the beds. (work in progress). At this point, I find it handy for our house to still have soil based beds while we figure out what does and doesn't work in these growbeds. BTW, put some garlic cloves in the beds a few days ago and they went off!! Don't know about all garlic but ours is cranking. The interesting thing is the cauliflower is doing much better. Cabbage is producing excellent leaves but have yet to see a head form. More on that later. For quick gratification try lettuce and radishes. We have been using the radish sprouts in salads and they are tasty. The lettuce comes up almost overnight.

Hi Paul,
How did your broccoli mature? I didn't have much luck with mine. It did come to a head but wasn't very big and flowered pretty quickly.
