I added some aerated worm drippings to my fish tank. I believe i added too much or it was too old. Some of the fish looked like their slime was coming off and this is a pic of the worse one. Down to the flesh. Closest thing i could find is that it's possibly a bacteria that tears the skin up.

I think I will just use my drippings for the soil garden and the compost tea for my AP system. The drippings were probably sitting stagnant for a while and with out air until I decided to use them.

Wow!  I feel for you! (and those fish too!)

Since I really do not have all the details, this is only taken from what you mentioned in your photo caption:

It is possible this is not from your "aerated worm drippings"....But there is a very strong likelihood that is the case.  This is why I (and other vermiculture managers) are on a campaign to let the world know that using the "drippings", which are actually leachate, is playing 'Russian Roulette' with our AP system (or where ever it is applied).  Many use the stuff for a time seemingly with impunity. But here you have a very disastrous example of why not to use it. My condolences to you for having to go through this.  Leachate has beneficial microbial life,  and can have detrimental microbial life in it.  By aerating it you increase both. Apply the petri-dish-soup, and then you get problems, or at the very least put your system in a defensive battle on a microbial scale that may or may not manifest in ways we can actually see.  But here you can.

What you should be using is pure worm castings to brew worm castings tea.  It can be applied to your plants or media, but there is really no need to add it to the water in a cycled AP system.

If you need a few pointers or have questions about how to do any of that just drop me a private message.  I'd be glad to help you out.

"ouch" comes to mind, just looking at the picture.  My best to you in this as you work to resolve the issue at hand.
