Hi Carey!

With regards to stinky water, the pump is running 24 x 7 so it's not stinky at all even with the turtle poop. And underneath the Turtle statue is where the water falls out form the pipes and that brings in much needed oxygen into the water. There are guppies in the turtle pond to eat mosquito larvae too.  I don't really know much about the PH balance nor do I monitor it. All the herbs and veggies are growing fine, however I have yet to harvest  squash, which is the plant with the big leaves, because once that happens it could topple the panel. The system is about 8 months old. I keep on moving the plants  that's why I have some bare areas. Note: next time, I would prefer to use thick plastic panels as I am starting to see some small rust parts at the base of the wire panel.

Kewl looking garden. Any problems with imbalance/ nutrient deficiencies/ stinky water? I try not to run any single length more than thirty feet without adding oxygen.

Cheers
