aquaponics, first system 023
i made it with two beds in mind, but the ft wasn't big enough, i think if i make a sump system i could use both gb's.

Hi shawn,
I diden't consider the media, great i can try that tomorrow, as it stands it's taking about 10 min to fill, and 3 min to empty with the pump off, should i just leave the pump on 24-7 ?, This would bring emptying time up to about 4min 30sec.

Actually, I think you could easily do two GB's. 1:1 or 1:2 are common FT:GB ratios in aquaponics. Remember that the media displaces a lot of the GB volume, so even with two GB's, you may not be even close to 1:2.
