Well, my strawberries started bearing sooner and produced about 20% more than the average in most of the trials I've been able to find for Seascape strawberries.

Awesome Nate.

I'm with Carolyn,  I'd be curious about the yield potential of of a Strawberry Zip is compared to field grown as well.

Do you know how that 5-6 weeks compares to field grown strawberry production rates? That could be helpful info for gardeners and farmers to know. Comparisons always put things into perspective. :-)

They started flowering just a couple days after planting, but I cut flowers for the first month, they're giving me a pound to a pound and a half every day now, and they started really cranking about 5 or 6 weeks after planting (I'll have to look at my notebook and let you know specifically).

Awesome is right! Strawberries are a perfect plant for vertical "display posts" since they benefit from hanging ... somewhat like "berries" :-) How lush and productive. I could make a few strawberry shortcakes out of one row of those babies! :-) How long did it take to get to the first productive crop?
