I hear you. I have people that always want me to build them a system until I tell them what it will cost.

Anything can be built. It is finding the person that wants it bad enough to commission it.....lol

It would be neat to make a dinning room table with this design with the table surrounding the grow bed.

There is enough space to do everyday maintenance and cleaning. I just put fish (goldfish) in today.  The top section lifts off for major cleaning and repair. Two people can lift it when the bed is drained. The hydroton is relatively light.  It is about 2'x2'x3' high. I am going to build a smaller version, something that can sit on a counter top. About 10 gallons or so.

How much access do you have to the FT. That may be the only thing I see as a problem area. Can you fit a net and the grown fish in between the tank and the bottom of the GB? I assuming it will fit through a normal door also? The workmanship is excellent from what I can tell in the picture. Do you think you can sell them for enough to get your money and time back out of them? Overall good work.

That is the idea. I am looking for feedback to fine tune the design. So... tell me what you think from a critical perspective and ask others to do the same. I would really appreciate it.
