I lost all my crayfish. The water was reaching upwards of 110 degrees F for a while and the poor crustaceans just could handle it. However my mosquito fish have been breeding like crazy and I have no pest problems at all of the bloodsucking kine. If the population grows enough I may even have another food source for my tilapia. I added airlines to both tanks to break up an algae that was making the surface of the water almost gelatin like. Of course that inhibits the growth of the duckweed. Sigh, what to do.
