I hear ya.  I know of a few people who grow them in garbage bags.  As the plant grows they just add more dirt to the bag. I haven't tried it.  Doing it aeorponically sounded interesting .

i took it out and planted them in a wicking bed,  didnt like it as much as the AP,  bugs eventually ate them down.

Hi Chris,  Curious to know - how did your potato plant turn out? 

Since they normally grow in a completly dark environment, I'm considering building an enclosed cabinet and utilizing aeroponics for growing potatoes.  Saw someone in Europe did it that way.
