this 1/2 drum grow bed outside is fed w 4 medium sized gold fish in a feed barrel (trash can size) Thats right folks FOUR fish feed everything on my porch . 3 cucumber , several mint , basil, aloe vera, roma tomatoes, (wich climed to roof !) , the fish store bought pump failed last week and i have a fountain pump in place now. tht is why the leaves are brown. it is recovering well though now. the cat is closely guarding the mint flowers.

the green tray is a failed flaoting letuce bed inside. my ph is wrong for the lettuce, but as a secondary help it collects the fish solids. i peridicly syphon the solids out and use that water on my neighbors garden and some plants outside. termendous fertilizer! i have a water bridge that the water exits the tray into the indoor grow bed drum. notice i have 2 "bridges" this ensures i wont get the carpet wet again. a 1 liter bottle on the growbed side determines the water level of the green tray.
