Hi Desertrat,

I have this completely untested notion of building a "rocket mass heater" around a steel bathtub.  I figure if i have 6-8 tubs, if a little warm water goes to each in turn the fish tank temp won't rise too fast. 

But it seems so hard to control the heating rate from my experience with wood fires.
