Bill-- I noticed plywood is used a lot on frames like this, one on each side usually. I didn't use it because I didn't like how it looks, and I didn't want to cut all of them out of the sheet, and nail them all off. Too many! Tom
I drew up a 'diamond' joint of double 60 degree cuts tonight that I'd strength with a single or maybe double plywood gusset to simplify my design, but I love the elegant curvature of your joints. I am guessing your frame spacing is 24 inches O.C.?
Bill-- Yes, a router and 4 jigs. (2 L.H. and 2 R.H.). I built different (but similar) frames a while back using a circular saw and a different style joint that works just as well, and would definitely use the saw method instead of a router if to do again. Using a router, I found out, was very labor intensive and costly compared to using a saw. --Tom
Plastic-- 2 layers with roll up sides.
Tom, What are you going to cover your greenhouse with?
Elizabeth-- The floor will be gravel.
Tom, I noticed you did not build this structure on a foundation. What are you going to use for the floor?
