Thanks We Designed it using 4"x 4" and Deck planks 5/4" The only 2 x 6" or 2 x 8" are in the rafters and base frame lagged into the deck. It is made from Cedar purchased from Menard's Building materials store. Cost of materials and construction its right around $7,000.00 could have cut the cost by 1/2 if I would have used pressure treated, but it would have not looked half as good.
