mascadine is some kind of variant of muscat?
the grapes and the passion fruit, i just plant it in my cinder bed and let it trail up my trellis. the vine started to get long, so i tied a sting (later rope) between the trellis and a mountain apple tree that is off screen.
i am not sure if passion fruit will grow in a raft...

oh, didn't realize that's what passion fruit looks like..cool. Thanks. That grows here too..also was thinking about grapes in the ground, muscadine are the type that supposedly grow well here. Maybe I'll try growing the grapes in the system. Could you explain how you do it? I wasn't thinking I would do the fruiting plants on the rafts..isn't there another way. I haven't really looked into it, but on this video I saw it looked like they were in pots that sat in the water.

its called lilikoi, or passion fruit. its growing well.

i also have some grape growing, its doing better then my ground grapes but hasnt fruited.
