04-15-11 Roots after a little shake in charcoal media
Most of the charcoal just shakes right off! Little green bumps on the foliage are aphids.

None that would work well in the house except pulling ALL the plants and replanting lettuce 2 weeks later. Lettuce grew back quickly with no aphids. Nitrogen did have a little spike but I all but cut the fish off feed so it wasn't bad.
